Slope unblocked: play Slope online free right here in your browser — no download, no sign-up, works on a school Chromebook.
Slope is a one-button-simple, never-quite-easy runner: a ball rolls down an endless neon track suspended in space, and your only job is to keep it on the track. There are no enemies and no story. The track is a stream of gaps, narrow ramps and red blocks, and it gets faster the longer you survive.
A run lasts anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes, which makes it a good break between longer sessions. If you came to this site for Kick The Teddy Bear's quick, chaotic fun, Slope has the same one-more-try pull. The difference is that the chaos here is your own mistake: a late turn and the ball drops into the void.
How to play
Steer with the left and right arrow keys or A and D. This build also lists Up or Space as a jump. After a crash, press a key to restart straight away. The goal is distance: your score climbs as long as the ball stays on the track, so every run is a fresh attempt at your own best.
Touch the edge and the ball falls off. Hit a red obstacle and the run ends. Nothing else is at stake, so you can restart as many times as you like.
Tips
- Use short taps rather than holding a direction. Holding a key makes the ball overshoot, and at speed the overshoot is what usually sends it off the edge.
- Look a few blocks ahead instead of at the ball. By the time an obstacle is close to the ball, it is too late to line up a clean turn.
- On steep downhill sections the ball speeds up quickly, so settle into the middle of the track first and make small corrections.
- If your hands tense up and your runs get shorter, take a short break. The speed ramps up in the same way every time, so a calm start tends to beat a fast one.
Similar games on Kick the Buddy
Slope is the odd one out on a shelf of ragdoll and smash games, which makes it a handy change of pace. Smash Room and Smash It are about causing destruction at your own speed, with no fail state. Short Life and Short Life 2 are platformers where you try to survive hazards one at a time. Super Falling Fred also has you dodging a drop, but as a ragdoll rather than a rolling ball.
Slope suits quick sessions on a keyboard. Two hands on the arrow keys or A and D give the most precise steering, and it runs in the browser with nothing to install.
